Despite the pixar animation style, Team Fortress is a game for everybody. You can run fast and jump high as scout, ignite multiple enemies as pyro, or sneak past the enemy with spy's sneaky stealth-like style. I guarantee that if you dislike this game, you have not played enough or explored the possibilities with the 9 different classes- each with a unique personality.
One of the most interesting games besides portal, Half-life allows you to play as Doctor Gordon Freeman and other citizens. The Combine are after you, you must fight your way through and eliminate 'G-Man.' There are also 2 episodes/ sequels.
